Overseas engineers, acting in conjunction with local engineers, have made a thorough || investigation of the proposal, and it is stated their reports are particularly favourable. They have advised that the , scheme would provide an adequate v water supply in the future for districts through which the proposed pipe-line would pass. It is also stated that in due course evidence will he furnished to the Government that the financial stability of the interests behind the project is be* yo'nd question. -
