MERCANTILE AUXILIARY

The monthly luncheon of the Mercantile Auxiliary Club was held yesterday. Letters from tho St. John Ambulanco Association were read, also a communication from tho Mayoress regarding tho children's party she is organising in connection with Prosperity Week. The members were pleased to meet Nurso Soden, who addressed the girls regarding tho work done by the district nurses of the St. John Ambulance, and conveyed thanks to the' members for their recent donation of soap. Present at luncheon were: —Miss Joyce Dickey, Miss I. JeYmings, Miss Evelyn McNeill, Miss Peggy Lee, Miss Hilary Booth, Miss Jean Gaudie, Miss Olive Spring, Miss M. McArthur, Miss L.
