ANNUAL Sf. JOHN'S EVENT The annual marathon run of the St. John's College was held over nn arduous courso of 3} miles yesterday, the winner boing T. A. M. Curnow, whose actual running time was 23m 40s, The winner started from a handicap of 3jm. The result was:-—T. A. M. Curnow, 1: W. Plarbour, 2: T. E. Holmes 3. Fastest time was secured hy T. E. Holmes in 22m 6s W. R. Castle, scr. ecordcd second fastest, time in 22tn 10s. and finished in eighth place.
