GOODHEW DEFEATS CONVERY Tlie open billiards championship was continued last evening, in the Lane billiards parlours, when E. J. Goodhew defeated J- Con very by 500 points to 479. Both players were below championship form, the highest break of the evening being 41, The scoring wiib very even throughout, each player taking the lead in turn. Goodhew eventually ran to points with a very close' margin in his favour The tournament will be continued this evening, when L. Holdsworth will meet IS. W. Warren
