ANGLING REGULATIONS
FINES FOR BREACHES [nv telegraph—OWN correspondent] ROTORTJA. Thursday Several cases of breaches of the fishing regulations were brought before the Taupo Magistrate's Court yesterday by Mr. A. Kean, conservator for tho Rotorua district. For fishing in the Tongariro River without a licence and for using a spoon bait in a fly-fishing area, David Missen, of Taihape, was fined £2, with costs, on each charge. Fines of £2 with costs were imposed on the following for using spoon bait in fly-fishing areas:—Arnold Roy Lusty and George Reid, Taihape; Thomas Garrick, Palmerston North: and Samuel "\V. .1. Brown and Percy Philip Steveus, Feilding.
