MOTHERS' CLUB
The 10th annual meeting of the Alothers' Club of the Young Women's Christian Association was held this week, Mrs. Edwards presiding. The report was read by tho secretary, Airs. Hynes. It stated that tho year has been one of the jnost successful in the history of tho club, due to the co-operation of the members. One of the club's most important assets was the unanimity of purpose and the willingness of members. to servo when called upon. Tho financial statement given by the treasurer, Airs. Dickens, showed tho club to bo sound. Alost helpful donations had been given and much practical help to many worthy causes, the year commenced with a credit balance of £l2 14s Id and it now stood at £l3 5s IOJd. .if ' The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Airs. Dickens; first vice-president, Airs. Johnston; second vice-president, Airs. A. Alorris; lion, secretary. Airs. Hynes; assistant secretary. Airs. Hoy; treasurer, Airs. Edwards; thrift secretary, Airs Hviand; musical committee, Alesdames Collier, Hynes and Jfidd; visiting committee, Alesdames Leitz, Johnston and Hoy; general committee. Alesdames Sharp, Rogers, Lewis, Manson, Pankhurst. E. Alorris, Lee, Leitz and Walker Airs. AleConncll was rc-clcctcd to train the children for the Christmas entertainment.
