ITALIAN INFLUENCE SOME CONCERN CAUSED British Wireless RUGBY, July 25 The situation in Malta was the subject to-day of a question in the House of Commons addressed to the Colonial Secretary, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister. Asked if he was aware in regard to the teaching of English and Italian that people were becoming exceedingly anxious owing to the growing Italianisation of this British colony, the Minister said the Houso had unanimously approved .the course the Government had taken in regard to tho teaching of English in Malta. That decision would bo strictly carried out. Sir Philip said ho thought the Maltese Government understood that thero could bo no question of inodifying in the slightest degree tho unanimous decision of Parliament.
