NAPIER-WAIROA ROAD
SLIP NEAR MOHAKA Advice was received by the Automobile Association yesterday that the Napier-Wairoa road was blocked by a slip near Mohaka. The passenger services have been uninterrupted, as passengers have, been transferred over the slip, and it is anticipated that private ears Mill be able to get through, the road again by this afternoon". The slip took place near where a portion of the road was entirely obliterated during the earthquake, traffic now using a detour round the Mohaka settlement..
