HOLIDAY AT PORT WAIKATO YOUNG MEN'S APPRECIATION [FROM OlTt OWN CORKKSrCNDENT] HAMILTON, Moijday Appreciation of the facilities offered at the Kahukura camp at Port Waikato, the property of the "Waikato Children's Camp League, is expressed in the annual report of the Hamilton Young Men's Christian Association. The report states that the members of the institution spent a most enjoyable holiday there last summer. "A more delightful spot could not be found," the report continues. "Surfing was a most enjoyable attraction. The hills round the camp provided many hours of happy and interesting tramping. The bush just above the camp was full of New Zealand birds. We know* of no better camp in New Zealand. Swimming, fishing, cricket, tramps, bush rambles, overnight camps, concerts, moving pictures, and numerous other pastimes kept all the camp busy, interested and happy."
