[BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"} ■WELLINGTON; Monday "As the outcome of negotiations with the Government of the United States of America, it is now clear that vegetables, including onioni, can be fix* ported from New Zealand to the Stal« under permit," "said the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. E. MacmillaJii; to-night. "As in the case of fruit," added the Minister, "permits are granted io the United States to the importer. The present import duty is 2£ cents per, pound."
