MAN'S SKULL FRACTURED
CHISEL ON MOVING BELT ACCIDENT IN ENGINE-ROOM [BT TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] THAMES, Monday As a resuK of an accident during milking operations on his father's farm at Kauaeranga, yesterday morning, Mr. William Barbalich, aged 25, son of Mr. W. Barbalich, of Thames, suffered a fracture of the skull. Xo one witnessed the accident, Mr. Barbalich being found unconscious by his brother. It is thought that a chisel was shaken off the wall of the engine-room where Mr. Barbalich was working on to the machine belt which hurled it on to his forehead, r'nflicting a severe gash as well a3 the fracture. The injured man was conveyed to the hospital and is reported to he making good progress.
