KENSINGTON CLUB'S SEASON [FROM OUR OTVN CORRESPONDENT J WHANGAREI, Monday A credit balance of over £2O was revealed by the balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Kensington Bowlinsc Club. Mr. T. H. Stcadman, president, congratulated the club on the very successful season, considering the difficult times. He said it was gratifying to finish the season with a substantial credit balance, and this had been obtained as the result of careful management and a large amount of voluntary labour by members. Following were the winners of club competitions:—Singles championship, C. V. Stringer; handicap singles, P. Johnson; handicap pairs, 11. McMath and Iv. G. M. Kelly. The following officers were elected;— Patrons, Messrs. A. J. Murdoch, M.P., R. S. Finch, T. H. Steadman; president, Mr. K. G. M. Kelly; vice-presidents. Messrs. E. B. Moore, J. Joneß; committee. Messrs. H. McMath. C. V. Strinaer. T. H. Steadman. E. G Tibbits, F. G. Ross; green superintendent Mr F. Cliff; match committee, Messrs. A. J. Mackay, 11. McMath. C. E. selection committee, Messrs. J. Jones, H. McMath, E. G. Tibbits. A. J. Mackay; delegates to North Auckland Bowling Centre. Messrs. C. V. Stringer. E. B. Moore: coaches, Messrs. F. Cliff. J. Jones; tournament. committee. Messrs. J. Clarke, E. Cr. Tibbits, A. H. Curtis. Mr. W. Sword was elected ft life member in appreciation of his long and active association with the club.
