WEDDING
NEWELL —RU ST Tho wedding was celebrated very quietly in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Saturday morning, of Miss Eileen Rust, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pust, of Violet Cregcent, Parnell, and Mr. Harold Ccdric Newell, of Auckland, youngest son of Mrs. E. H. Newell, and of tho late Mr. Frank Newell, of Frankloigh Park, New Plymouth. Tho ceremony was performed by tho ftev. Ivo 10. Bertram. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a ligbt grey tailored coat and skirt with a delphinium blue crepe do chine blouse. Her small close-fitting felt hat was of the same shade of grey as her costume. Mr. Tim Potter, of Auckland, was best man. Mrs. Rust, tho bride's mother, was in a frock of amethyst flat crepe under a black fur coat and black velvet hat. Previous to their wedding, tho bride and bridegroom, both being members of the literary staff of the New Zealand Herald, were the joint recipients of a presentation from the combined staffs, the editor, Mr, 11. M. Hackct, making the presentation.
