DANCE AND BRIDGE
The Grange was the scene of a bright party on Saturday night when members and friends of the Otahuhu Golf Club gathered at a dance and bridge party. The danco hall was effectively decorated and the lounges looked very inviting with bright fires burning. The hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Norman Wade in gold lame and Mrs. Murdoch in blue georgette. They were assisted by a ladies' committee comprising Mrs. Belcher, in floral crepe suede; Mrs. McNeilv, maize georgette; Mrs. Davis, black lace; Miss Wills, cigar brown georgette; Miss Muir, parchment lace; Miss Madge Clark, mushroom pink lace; Miss Grant, stone grey lace; Misß B, Wvllie, sunset tinted georgette; Miss Lulu Hunter, amber georgette. Bridge prizes were won by Miss Kennedy and Mr. McLean. Among those present were: Mrs. Jarvic. Mrs. Clements, Mrs. Hickson, Mrs. McLean, Mrs. Llliott, Mrs. Paine, Mrs. White. Mrs. Butler, Mrs. Quin, Mrs. Coker, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Grant, Mrs. J. Wade, Mrs. Eustace, Mrs. Finnigan, Mrs. Archibald, Mrs. Harry Wade, Misses G. Clark, Connor, Richards, McLeod, Clark, Nicholson, Kennedy, Wilson, Jones, Montcomerie, Baxter, Wyman. Nicholls, L. Grin tor, P. Nicholls, White, E. Grinter, Burrill, Lipscombe, Fallwell, Jenkins, Hickson, Morgan, Murdock, Pavne, Wells, Butler, Bryan, Gow, M. Bryant, Walker, Johns, Waters, Claudet, S. Walker, Linton, Adams and C. Campbell.
