ROTORUA NEWS
Mrs. Give Young was hostess at a delightful farewell bridge party given for Mrs. S. L. Paterson, who leaves Rotorua shortly to take up her residence in Hamilton. The drawing room was arranged with gerberas, marigolds and autumn foliage. Mrs. Young received her guests wearing a frock of nut brown satin, relieved with touches of pink. Mrs. Paterson wore rose chiffon velvet. The first prize was won by Mrs. Booth and the consolation prize by Mrs. J. Roberts. Those present were:— Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. J. Roberts, Mrs. s. L. Paterson, Mrs. Booth. Mrs. George Marshall, Mrs. I* 1 . W. Wilkie, Mrs. E. Budd® Mrs. G. C. Elitchcock, Mrs. E. La Trobe-Hill, Miss A. C. Scare!!, Mrs. J. H. Herrold. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Abbot, of Eltham, are spending a golfing "holiday in Rotorua and are guests at the Geyser Hotel. •Miss Betty Crisp and Miss Sue Crisp, of Gisborne, are spending several weeks in Rotorua. Mrs. E. Grove and her daughter, Mrs. H. Boon, are at present on holiday in Rotorua. They are staying at Hotel Arawa. Mrs. J. E. is making an extended visit toTtotorua and is the guest of her son, Mr. Eric Roe, Amoliia Street.
