REMUERA CROQUET CLUB
The first of a series of bridge afternoons took place in the bowlers' pavilion, Market Road, on Thursday. The prizes were donated by Mrs. A. Coutts and Mrs. R. G. Norton, and were won by Mrs. W. H. Lowe, Mrs. F. Clark and Mfs. A. R. Graham. Among those present were: Mesdames Lusher (president), Mahoney, Daniels, Davis, Wooller, Coltman, Webber, Allan, Burrett, Bray, Broad, Isemonger, Lowe, Gardner, O'Connor. Stubbs, Peake, Colebrook, llawnsley, Whitley, Mcintosh, Theyers, Moran, Curtis, Shaw, McDonald, Ellison, L. Clark, E. W. Colebrook, Andrews, Bassett, Taylor, Gray, Penn, Huddlestone, Kissling, Kattcrfoldt, Brabant, J. A. Smith, Wilson, Short, Simcock, Johnson, Oswald, Dixon, Irwin, Cadman, Barker. Jarvey. SUeppard, Ellcrbeck, Harvey, Wallnutt, Mackenzie, Bewesj Blenkinsop and Held, and the Misses Niccols, Bassett, Roach, Chirk, Patterson, Brown, Laing, SJieet, Sloman and Wright.
