PARNELL BEATS NORTHERN An inter-club A grade badminton match between Parnell and Northern resulted in a win for the former by 21 matches to 8. Following are the results. Parnell players being mentioned first:—Men's doubles: Southon and Ellett beat James and Kay, 21—8, and beat Anderson and Canham, 21—7: Philson and McCrystal beat James and Kay, 21—13, and beat Anderson and Canham, 21—17. Ladies' doubles: Misses Ellett and Miller bent Misses Grinter and Canham. 21—-1. and beat Misses Montgomerie and Clarke, 2L—2; Misses M. and K. Waters beat Misses Grinter and Canham, 21 —10, and beat Misses Montgomerie and Clnrke, 21—7. Combined doubles: Southon and Miss Ellett beat Kay and Miss Grinter, 21—18; I. Ellett and Miss K. Waters beat James and Miss Canham, 21—8; McCrystal and Miss Miller beat Anderson and Miss Montgomerie, 21 beat Anderson and Miss Clarke, 21—8.
