Sunday The Hamilton East Bowling Club'B last season commenced with a deficit of £33 and ended with a credit balance of £6O. This was revealed in the report submitted to the annual meeting of the club. Mr. R. Handley presided. Of the club competitions played, G. Lyrnburn won the championship singles, A. Lymburn and J. Murchie the pairs, and W. Percy the first year singles. Three successful one-day tournaments were held. The green had been kept in excellent order during the season and credit was due to the green superintendent, Mr. W. A. Wallis, and the green-keeper, Mr. L. W. Harvey, for their services. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr. David Nathan; president, Mr. S. V. Tyler; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Jordan, R. Handley; secretary, Mr. E. Quill; committee, Messrs. A. Giffoi'd. W.
