MUSEUM COUNCIL

LOCAL BODY MEMBERS The annual election of three members to represent contributing local bodies on the council of the Auckland War Memorial Museum will take place today. Twelve nominations have been received. The retiring members, Messrs. S. Donaldson, I. -T. Goldstine and H, T. Clements, the Mayors of Newmarket, One Tree Hill and Otahuhu, respectively, are seeking re-election. Local authorities are represented on the council by three members of interested local bodies, three members of the Auckland City Council, and the Mayor. The City Council's present representatives are the Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, and Messrs. A. J. Entrican, J. B. Paterson and T. Bloodworth.
