w ■■ UNSETTLED CONDITIONS GEN Eft AL RAIN PROBABLE The Government meteorologist ported last evening as complex depression still lies between, south-eastern Australia and New Zenland, while the pressure is high on ;he cast side of the Dominion., Indications are for variable winds at first, bub north-easterly to northerly; prevailing, light to moderate mainly,, but freshening. Seas rather rough north of Cape "figmont and on the cast coaut-t elf ewhen: moderate, in the eastern Ta.sman Sea, moderate to strong noi-th winds, with moderate to rather rough seas. Th<> weather will be still unsettled and cloudy with much mist or fog., liain is probable generally, and there will be some heavy falls of snow on the highlands of the South Island, YESTERDAY'S WEATHER ' Auckhnd. —The weather was variably and unsettled yesterday, the wind having changed from mouth-west to north, east.
