WELLINGTON, Saturday Advantage will be taken of the presence. of sheepbreeders attending the annual conference which will lie held at Massev College on Friday to hold a special meeting at Palmerston North next week to discuss a future programme of wool research and breeding developments in the North Island. It is anticipated that the Acting-Minister of Scientific and Industrial Research, Hon. E. A. Ransom, and the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. K Macmi I lan, will address the meeting. Woolgrowers are desirous of going fully into the question of what measures can be taken to improve the present position in regard to the industry, and this conference of North Island breeders is intended to stimulate interest in wool production and perhaps inaugurate measures designed' to improve the present situation.
