BAY OF PLENTY RESULTS [by TELEGRAPH —owx correspondent] OPOTIKI, Thursday The Bay of Plenty sheep dog trials, were concluded at "Waioeka yesterday, where, there was a large attendance of visitors. Results:— - ' Long Head and Hold in Ring.—W. G. Butler's Ring. 44 points, 1: A. Irvine'i Jock, 42, 2: "SV. G. Butler's Moss, 40, ,1; G. *S. Mead's -Heather and J. McDonald's Betty, 39, equal, 4. • Short Head and Yard.—E. Cranswick'g Dictator. 451, 1; A. Irvine's Jock, 4-IJ, 2; W G. Butler's Ring, 41, 3; J. McDonald's Betty. 4j3J. 1 . The meeting, which was highly successful, concluded with a social in the Waioeka Hall, when the trophies and cups >vcre presented. * TUAKAU COMPETITIONS . LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVES [FROM- OUR OWN CORRESPOXCEN'TJ" TUAKAU, Frigny from North Auckland, Sfeuth Auckland, Curomandel and the King Qouutry competed at the annual trials held.,this week by tli& Tuakau District Shetjpdog Trial Club.
