ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

NEW ROTORUA BRANCH The newly-formed Rotorua branch of the St. John Ambulance Association is now functioning actively. The first lecture to a class of about 50 persons was delivered in the Citizens' Clubroom by Dr. W. S. Wallis this week, and a talk was also given by Mr. S. Langstone, manager of the association in Auckland. The next lecture is to bo delivered on April 21. Assistance to the new branch is being given by the matron and sisters of King George V. Hospital, and by Boy Scouts and Girl Guides. Mr. W. J. Green, a Serving Brother of the Order of St. John, has been appointed honorary secretary of the branch.
