QUARTERLY MEETINGS Resolutions endorsing the principles of the Bible in State Schools League, and protesting against the granting of permission to hold art unions offering valuable money prizes, were passed at the quarterly meeting of the Auckland Methodist Central Circuit. The Rev. W. Walker presided. The financial statement disclosed a reduction of £lO in the debit account. The membership. of _ the circuit includes 763 seniors, 191 juniors, 109 school teachers and 903 scholars. A church membership of 546 was reported at the quarterly meeting of 'the Auckland East Methodist Circuit. The circuit debt had been reduced from £145 to £75, while £340 was raised for the home mission fund. Mr. L. Peak was appointed foreign mission secretary.
