PETER PAN CABARET
A MERRY GATHERING ENGLISH CRICKETERS PRESENT Over 600 dancers attended the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday evening, the visitors including the English cricketers, New Zealand cricketers and the executives of the Auckland and New Zealand Cricket Associations, who were the guests of the management. The visitors and their party were iu the lounges at the far end of the cabaret and after the successful d<iv at Eden Park tho spirit of merriment reigned supreme. Mr. Merv Brcc and his orchestra had to repeat numbers from tho commencement of the evening and the enthusiastic dancers kept the orchestra playing with very few stops. Among tho dancers were; —Mrs. Noel Hockin, who wore a frock of bluo and black rose-patterned chiffon; Mrs. 11. Lowrio (Hawko's Bay), pink and amethyst lloral chiffon; Mrs. A. Neville, almond green brocaded georgette; Mrs. Phillip Clatworthy, pruneshaded ilat crepe; Mrs. R. 'Pong, white crinkled crepe; Mrs. Watkins, mauve georgette with insets of satin beaute; Mrs. Cave (.Gisborno), Chinese 'red lace over satin; Mrs. A. Marly, black taffeta; Mrs. V.
