PAYMENT OF BENEFITS • ' After making provision for writing down the capital value of securities, in accordance with current conditions, a credit balance of £62,186 in the sick and funeral fund is revealed in the financial report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Auckland district delegates of the Ancient Order of Foresters, to be held this evening. The report states that while members' contributions for sickness and funeral benefits totalled £4425, a decrease of £205 compared with the previous year, £4IOB was paid during last year in sick pay, funeral allowances totalled £750, hospital fees were £1529, and maternity benefits amounted to £BSO. The district chief ranger, Mr. G. H. Hughes, will preside at the meeting, which will be atteuded by delegates from the principal towns in the, Auckland Province. The session will conclude to-morrow.
