OTAHUHU GOLF CLUB
Another golf season was ushered in .at the clubhouse of the Grange Links on Tuesday evening, when the first of a series of social functions was held in the form of a flannel dance and bridge party. There was a good attendance of members and friends, and a very pleasant time was spent by nil. The successful bridge players were Mrs. Reid-Clark, winner of the hidden number, and Mr. R. Pleasance the highest score. The guests were received by Mrs. A. G. Grinter, Mrs. F. Pollard and Mrs. E. F. McNeeley. Among those present were:—Mesdames T. Clements, S. W. House, McMillan, Davies, Belcher Hotson, Quinn, J. Eccles, Stead, B. Menzies, Parsons, Butler, Reid-Clark, Montgomery, Eustace, Speakman, Purdon, and the Misses Muir, M. Clark, B. Wyllie, Richards, Atkinson, R. Kirkbride, M. Baxter, M. Walker, S. Walker, N. Wyllie, M. McFarland, A. McFarland, G. McMillan, G. Newson, D. Grinter, E. Grinter, Eade, Thompson, Pinfold, D. Butler and S. Ryburn.
