CAMP AT WHANGAREI

COLONEL DUIGAN'S VISIT ARRIVAL BY AEROPLANE [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, "Wednesday The officer commanding the Northern Command, Colonel J. E. Duigan, arrived in Whangarei from Auckland this morning in an aeroplane piloted by FlightLieutenant Wallingford, and landed at Kensington Park, where he visited the North Auckland Mounted Rifles' camp. Subsequently Flight-Lieutenant Wallingford proceeded to Whangaroa. He will return to Whangarei to-morrow and will participate in the Mounted Rifles' technical exercises at the field day to be held at Maunu, near Whangarei.
