MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS

PARTY VISITS NORTH

The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, the Minister of Finance, the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, and the Minister of Lands, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, left Auckland by the Opua express yesterday morning to attend to-day's meeting of the Waitangi National Trust Board. Mr. Forbes arrived in Auckland on Tuesday, while Mr. Coates and Mr. Ransom reached the city by the ordinary express from Wellington yesterday morning. Included in the Ministerial party were Sir Francis Bell, Sir R. Heaton Rhodes and Mr. K. S. Williams, M.P., who are also members of the board. Mr. Coates and Mr. Ransom will return to Auckland iu time to leave for Wellington by the limited egress to-morrow evening. Mr. Forbes will maka a brief tour in North Auckland, returning to the city in time to connect with the limited express on Sunday evening.
