RETURNS OF LAND

Tho annual task which tho law imposes npon landowners of making a roturn of land held by them is again falling due. Returns, which must bo in the hands of tho Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, by April 8, must be furnished by all landowners who, at noon on March 31, 1933, held land of an unimproved value, according to the Government valuation, in excess of £SOO. Any persou neglecting to furnish a return ig liable to a penalty not exceeding £IOO.
