PRESENTATION
Mr. E. H. W. Kenny, manager of the Bank of New South Wales at Ruatoria, Poverty Bay, has been appointed manager of the branch of the bank at Eketahuna, Wairarapa. A farewell function in his honour was held at Ruatoria, when Mr. W. W. Ludbrook presented him with a cheque as a token of esteem. The Rev. P. Tamahori and Mr. Tamati Kaiwai spoke on behalf of the Maoris of the district and the latter presented Mr. Kenny with a Maori mat. Good wishes '*' ere extended to Mr. Kenny in view of his marriage, which takes place in Auckland to-day.
