CONSTITUTION QUESTION DISCUSSION IN COMMONS (Received February 10. 7.35 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9 In the House of Commons to-day Mr. P. W. Donner (Conservative —Islington West) inquired whether, in view of the Statute of Westminster, the Government proposed to consult the Governments of the Dominions before finally committing itsolf to constitutional reform in India. The Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, said nothing in the Statute affected the present position of constitutional reform in India. Sir H. Page Croft (ConservativeBournemouth) asked if Mr. Mac Donald was aware that there was considerable anxiety in the Dominions on this subject in view of the present state of affaiis in Ireland. Mr. Mac Donald: Yes, but the Statute of Westminster does not deal with a siate of anxiety.
