DARING ROBBERY
BANDITS IN CALIFORNIA VALUA3LE LOOT SECURED (Received February 10. 5.15 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO. Feb. 9 More than 325.000 dollars (£65,000 at par) in currency and Bank; of America bonds was stolen l>v three bandits at the main post office in Sacramento, California, last evening. The robbers surprised and disarmed a truck driver and his armed guard. The loot consisted of 125,000 dollars in currency and the rest in bonds. It was contained in a sack of outgoing registered mail.
