MAN'S THUMB SEVERED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN COB RESPONDENT] OPOTIK.I, Friday An electrician, Mr. G. O. Griffiths, was admitted lo the Opotiki Hospital as the result of an accident while, using a circular saw, tlife thumb of his right hand being completely severed. The hand also was severely lacerated. The injured man is reported to be progressing favourably.
