Loombination has done well of late, but neither he nor Sir Musk is as yet above the average. Soloist has not always performed consistently, but at his best in the M'okoia Handicap he would nokl iiis own. i:(o6e XiUpui is also engaged in that race, but the distance may be just, beyond her and she would be better suited by the journey in the Tourist Handicap. King's Knave is the only Te Awamutu representative in tha Rotorua Cup and ha looks like going out favourite. Since Mataliiatn. where he won his way out of hack company. King's Knave has done well. Beryl Latour raced well and won easily over a mile and a-quarter at both Pirongia and Ngaruawahin, aud in much better company at Matamata led for the greater part of the journey in the Hack Cup. Over a mile in the Geyser Handicap. Beryl Latour should be prominent. . D'Artagnan surprised by his forward running at Matamata, where he finished third. He will be a belter horse to-morrow and should show up in the Arawa Park Stakes. Musquil has had a fair amount of racing experience which should be in her favour to-morrow, but she has yet to show that she is more than ordinary. Three local horßes, Soloist. Rose Lupm and Bambury, figure in tho Tourist Handicap. The first two may be seen out earlier in the day. Bambury has been working very kindly of late arid his race at Matamata. should help him to see out. the six furlongs in this event in good style. WAIKATO RACING CLUB NEXT MONTH'S PROGRAMME The programme for the Waikato Racing Club's summer meeting, to be held at Te Rapa on March 9 and 11, is advertised in this issue.
