MR. ASQUITH'S OLD HOME " To lot, furnished, at £5 5s a -week, a Prinio Minister's superb country mansion." So might an advertisement run, says a correspondent, for The Wharf, Sutton Courtney, for 20 years the residence of the late Earl of Oxford and Asquilh. The famous statesman now lies buried in the old villngo churchyard a few miles away from the house, and his widow, the Countess of Oxford, has decided to let it for any period from a few weeks to a year.
