FIRST-AID COMPETITIONS [FROM our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday The annual first-aid competitions of the Hamilton division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were held during the .Hamilton regatta carnival to-day. There was a record number of entries, teams being present from Auckland, Onehuriga, Glen Aftou, Taumarunui, Huntly, Otahuhu, Frankton, and Hamilton. The prizes were presented by Colonel CI. Barclay, Chief Commissioner for New Zealand of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Following were the results:— Hague Efficiency Cup (individual test). —Pte. S. Allen (Huntly), 363 points, 1; Sgt. L. Hogg (Huntly), 345, 2; Corp. F. Ware (Hamilton), 342, 3. Hamilton Cup, for teams in South Auckland District. —Glen Afton, 1; Huntly No. 1, 2; Hamilton No. 1 and Huntly No. 2, equal, 3. South Auckland Cup (general treatment of patient and stretcher-transport).— Hamilton No. 2, 1; Otahuhu Railway No. 1, 2; Frankton No. 1. 3.
