INFLATION NOT POSSIBLE STABILISATION PROPOSAL By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received January 24, 5.5 p.m.) TORONTO, Jan. 23 " Unless something unforeseen happens Canada cannot and daro not. inflate her currency," said the Prime Minister, Mr. K. B. Bennett, in an address to the Toronto Board of Trade this evening. Canada's production of gold (new wealth) had permitted her to meet every obligation according to her contracts, said Mr. Bennett. The British delegation to the coining World Economic Conference would deal with the problem of securing a stabilisation of exchanges. Tho Prime Minister predicted a new method of stabilising securities in tlfe coming session. He said there would be some standard of a like value so that the money of Australia and that of Norway would be similar. Ho believed this was inevitable.
