DOMINION MUSEUM
When the new Dominion Museum in Wellington is ready to house all the exhibits now awaiting a permanent and adequate home, it is hoped to issue a complete catalogue with brief notes on all the specimens. For this purpose a register has been compiled giving full pnrtic'ulai'B of each exhibit, its past history, and its museum history. The last time such a catalogue was issued was in 1870, more than 60 years ago, and this was not only incomplete, but also inaccurate in some particulars. A new catalogue is therefore obviously long overdue, and when brighter days dawn, says Mr. W. R. 15. Oliver, the director of the museum, the work will be put in hand.
