FLOWER SHOW

Tho Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, will preside at tho opening of the flower show promoted by the Auckland Horticultural Society, to be held in the Town Hall concert chamber, to-morrow and on Friday. A vivid display of gladioli, sweet peas and carnations will be a feature of the exhibition, which is the most colourful show of the year. The official opening will take place at two o'clock to-morrow afternoon and the display will continue until ten o'clock in the evening. On Friday the show will be open from ten o'clock in tho morning until half-past nine in the evening.
