ACCIDENT TO MAORI
EYE STRUCK BY SUPPLEJACK [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANG AREI, Monday A Maori, Hapeta Hau, aged 54 years, employed by Mr. X. A. Wilson at Parakao, received a severe penetrating wound to the left eye while bushfelling this afternoon through being struck bv a supplejack. He received medical attention and was taken to the Whangarei Hospital.
