TAKAPUNA METHODISTS
Successful Sunday school anniversary services were hold at tho Takapuna Methodist Church on Sunday, which inaugurated the 50th year of tho school's activities. Tho morning service was conducted by the Rov. T. R. B. Woolloxall and the children's service in the afternoon by tho Rev. J. Hiddleston. In the evening the Rev. li. L. Richards urged the claim of the Sunday school teacher on the sympathy and appreciation of the non-church-going parent. Tho delightful singing of the scholars was well received, and the care bestowed by Miss C. Armour on their training was rewarded by their fine rendering of the selected carols and hymns. Mrs. P. Cammell accompanied on the piano and Miss J. Corfe played the organ.
