BOATING FATALITY
SECOND BODY RECOVERED FOUND AT POINT CHEVALIER Tho body of Mr. Roy Goldwater, aged 25, of 23 Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, tho second victim of the boating accident in the upper harbour on October 29, was recovered off Point Chevalier on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Goldwater and a companion, Mr. James Christopher King, aged 56, whoso home was in Vermont Street, Ponsonbv, left home on the morning of October 29 to fish in the upper reaches of the harbour from a small open boat. There were several squalls during the afternoon and on the following morning tho boat was found floating upside down in Little Shoal Ray. Last Tuesday, wreckage, consisting of a mast, boom and sail, which had apparently been cut away, was discovered by a resident of Point Chevalier. Mr. King's body was recovered on Friday near the Northcoto wharf, and on Saturday morning an inquest was held by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., coroner. After hearing evidence, ho returned a verdict that death was due to drowning following tho accidental overturning of the boat.
