TEMPERANCE WORK
The annual meeting of the Kohimarama6t. Heliers Bay branch of the W.C.T.U. Was held last week. Mrs. Hugh Ivasper presided, and Mrs. C. Perkins gave to devotional address. Musical items w rendered by Mesdames Neave, Gray, Anderson, and Lewis Eady, also an e.locu--1 lionarv item by Mrs. Frank W'oolei. A report of the year's activities was read, showing steady progress. Jhe election of officers resulted in Mrs. Jug Kasner, district president, being electea president,* pro tern; Mrs. C. Perkins an Mrs. Hubber, vice-presidents; Mrs. J^wis Eady, lion, secretary; and Mrs. O. rnulips,' hon. treasurer. A "bring and buy table was very successful, and resulted J augmenting the funds.
