BRITAIN AND EGYPT STATEMENT IN COMMONS British Wireless RUGBY. Oct. 27 The Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Captain R. A. Eden, was asked in the House of Commons whether he would make a statement about, the relations existing between the British Government and the present Government of Egypt, and whether the latter is one with which relations may be developed in the direction of the settlement of outstanding questions. ]"n reply Captain Eden said relations with the Egyptian Government were entirely friendly. The British Government had made no reservations regarding the present Egyptian Administration as one with which Anglo-Egyptian relations had been and might continue to be developed at the time and in the manner which might appear most suitable.
