GRANTHAM CRASH
ADDITIONAL DETAILS NEW ZEALANDERS' DEATHS LONDON. Oct. 14 At the inquest into the crash of a Royal Air Force aeroplane at Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Wednesday, when two New Zealanders, Flight-Lieutenant. Harold Marett and Pilot-Officer Adrian Kinross White, were killed, further details transpired. Flight-Lieutenant Marett, who had had flying experience amounting to 1750 hours, took Pilot-Officer White, who had had 51 hours' flying, as his pupil for a flight, when the machine looped inexplicably, side-slipped into a spin, and nose-dived. Marett jumped at a height of 100 ft., but his parachute did not have time to open. White was found later, strapped to the wreckage.
