NATIVE LAND SCHEME
. .ADDITIONAL 8516 ACRES . AREAS IN NORTH AUCKLAND [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Friday '' A total of 8516 acres has been added to the native land development scheme, according to a notice published in the Gazette yesterday. ' No owner, except with the "consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise 'any rights of ownership in connection with land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying out of the development scheme.
All the land affected is in the Tokerau Native Land Court district, and the areas added are as follows:—Bay of Islands scheme, 5379 acres; Mangonui, 688 acres; llokianga, 2189 acres; Kaipara, 260 acres.
