HIGH DUAL HONOUR

FELLOWSHIP IN MUSIC AUCKLAND GIRL'S SUCCESS A dual honour which is probably unique as far as Now Zealand is concerned has been gained by Miss Margaret L. Trafford, of Auckland, who received advice yesterday that she had been awarded a fellowship in music at the Trinity Collego of Music, London. She received her fellowship in elocution about 18 months ago, and tho dual distinction of holding two fellowships, each of which is regarded as a high honour, is enhanced by tho fact that Miss Trafford is only 20 years of ago. She gained her performer's licentiate from tho Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music when she was 17. Miss Trafford is at present studying at tho Auckland University Collego for her bachelor's degrees in art and music. It is her ambition to visit London and tho Continent in tho near future to continue her musical studies.
