PRICES AT FRANKTON EASING TENDENCY FOR BEEF [FROM OtE OWN COBEESI'ONDENTj HAMILTON, Tuesday There was an easing tendency in th'e demand for fat cattle at the weakly Frankton stock sale to-day. A heavy entry of .ox beef came forward, values for prime quality animals showing little variation, while the quotations for inferior sorts decreased con- • siderably. Cow beef of inferior quality came, forward in lanro numbers, and' a decided drop on lato rates was recorded. Stores improved slightly. There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of sheep. Prime quality wethers remained unchanged, but fat ewea were slow of eale. ©rices easing to the extent of 2s a head. Hoggets and a smaller yarding of spring lambs maintained late rates.
