SEA LEOPARD ON BEACH

A sea leopard about 9ft. long has become a familiar sight on the Ninety-Mile Beach and is fairly tame. It has a soft coat of a slaty grey colour and spends much time sleeping on the dry sand. When disturbed it rises on its flippers and opens its large mouth, exposing big teeth and if not left alone it makes for , the sea.
